1 • Where are your products manufactured?
We are a certified ICTI and ISO 9001:2000 manufacturer and doing business for over 45 years in the fields of toy namufacturing and garment accessories. MAXIM has muanufacturing facilities in Taiwan, Shanghai, and Don Guan China, which is our major wood factory.

3 • How are your products tested?
All of our products go through US labs testing to conform to ASTM-963 and CPSC Directives. The paint used on our products is LEAD FREE and NON-TOXIC.
4• Are your train sets compatible with the other manufacturers' brands?
The track for all of our train sets is compatible and interchangeable with most of the major namufacturers' brands, like Thomas the Tank and BRIO. There are instances where the wheel base on some engines and cars are wider and will not fit on the grooves of the track. There are some manufacturers' accessories that will not fit with our brand, please check your selection before you make your purchase.
5• Why don't the tracks fit tight together?
Wood is a live natural product and it will expand and contract depending on the temperature, humidity and climate conditions. Therefore, the track is not cut to fit snugly together.This will ensure that the track will connect in all conditions. The track is intentionally designed with a little bit of "play" so that track that makes curves and angles will fit together.
6• Can I make other configurations with my train set?
The track layout that is supplied with your train set is one configuration that you can make. There are other layouts available for our train sets, and you may look at our other layouts for more ideas. Please note that if you don't have the required track components for a particluar set you will not be able to make that layout. Feel free to visit the retailer link to order more track or accessories. Otherwise, you can let your childs imagination run wild and design their own creative layouts. |
